Dallas Cowboys need a new Quarterback

October 31, 2008

Dallas needs to find a new back-up quarterback and quick.  Tony Romo was “injured” in the overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals on October 12Th.  He broke his pinkie fingers on his throwing hand and now he will not be able to play once again this weekend against the defending NFL champions the New York football Giants.  If Kobe Bryant can play a full season, playoffs all the way through the Finals, win a Gold Medal in the Olympics, and come back for another season with a broken pinkie on his shooting hand, then Tony Romo should be able to strap the pads on and trust his offensive line to hold back that brutal defense.  I am still waiting for the Dallas Cowboys’ balls to drop and become a leading organization like they should have been this whole time but cant seem to win a playoff game to back their superstar status up.  They will be lucky to make the playoffs at this point with Brad Johnson at the helm.  I keep hearing sports announcers talking about how this past win was a season saving win when all I see is the fact that Dallas had the fewest amount of yards in a win ever.  How they are going to be able to get past the Giants I cant even imagine at this point, but I have picked them to win.  I don’t believe you should ever bet against your team, because its bad luck.  I understand that everyone seems to think its stupid to believe that the Cowboys could pull off a win but I say if there were any team in the NFL that could do it, Dallas is the team.  I am not exactly sure how to feel about the Cowboys at this point because I have not seen them played against a hard hitting defense without Romo yet.  I think they have the hardest road schedule out of all the teams in the NFL left in the season.  Don’t believe me?  Take a look:
