The most prolific receiver in Atlanta Falcons history has been let go as of Wednesday.  With over 10,000 yards in his career for the Falcons he is by far the franchises most successful wide receiver in their history.  At 34 years old, something tells me that he won’t have any problem finding another team to work with.  He want’s to stay in the South according to Josina Anderson:

I wonder if he would consider Dallas in the South? I feel like he could make a great impact over the next couple of years there. It would give Romo another threat to throw to. While he had pretty dismal numbers last season, I think having Dez Bryant opposite of him would be very beneficial to White’s career. Who knows, maybe he could even teach him a thing or two. White teaching Bryant anyway.  Roddy White owns the Falcons’ franchise all time record for catches, receiving yards, and touchdown catches.  He has been one of their biggest and most popular players over the years.  He was their first round pick in 2005 and went to college at Alabama-Birmingham.  What gets me the most is the fact that this move really only clears $2.36 million in salary cap space for next season.  I mean I get it, you need to figure out a way to more efficiently win games but getting rid of White might turn out to be a mistake as he could be going to another team in your division very soon.  I could see him playing for the Titans and having Mariotta throw 20+ touchdowns to him next season.  Just take a look at his stats over the past 11 seasons.  He practically averages 1000 yards receiving every season.
