The CIT is back! I love this tournament only because its totally different. No official brackets, no rankings, just a pool of teams to choose from with match-ups that are decided purely to benefit the players and teams. This means travel concerns, costs, and classes. If a team is going to miss more than certain amount of class for a game they don’t schedule it…in other words they make sure no one misses more classes than they need to. Most of the games are played at one of the Universities involved. The first round started on March 14th With Jackson State and Grand Canyon moving on to the next round. It will be interesting to see who ends up winning this tournament. You can bet we will be watching the semi-finals and finals on CBSSN. This will happen March 27th and March 29th.
