The Washington Redskins have signed Vernon Davis to a one-year deal. Vernon Davis grew up in Washington DC and went to Washington Dunbar High School. This will be a great homecoming for him. He was rated as the third best tight end coming out of high school. He went to the University of Maryland and ascended to the highest levels by the end of his college career. He was the 6th overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft and played 10 years for the San Francisco 49ers. This must have been hard for him switching over to the left coast but he had some great seasons with them before being traded to the Denver Broncos last season. This proved to be a great move because he won his first Super Bowl there just a few months ago.

Some people are not so happy about it:
Bambam Kam broke Vernon Davis. Been out of order ever since.
