We are in the third week of the NFL season and there are several teams in must win situations. It’s hard to believe that we could already be here after two games but that’s just how the league works. There are currently 8 teams at 0-2. Something I find interesting is that the NFC East (aka NFC Least) is the only conference in the NFC that has two undefeated teams left (New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles). The Washington Redskins (0-2) are in a must win situation this week playing the New York Giants (2-0) if they want a glimmer of hope in making the playoffs. If they fall 3 games back in 3 weeks of play there is virtually no chance of them making the playoffs (outside of maybe a wild card). The Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) and Dallas Cowboys (1-1) both difficult home games this weekend that will once again put the rookie quarterbacks to the test. Carson Wentz has looked spectacular so far this season and Dak Prescott has been pretty good so far. I would say that Dak Prescott is a complete game manager while Carson Wentz could possibly be a Hall of Famer by the end of his career. Anyways, here are the teams that are under the most pressure (Bottom 10 teams) this weekend:
- Miami Dolphins (0-2)
- Buffalo Bills (0-2)
- Cleveland Browns (0-2)
- Indianapolis Colts (0-2)
- Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2)
- Washington Redskins (0-2)
- Chicago Bears (0-2)
- New Orleans Saints (0-2)
- Seattle Seahawks (1-1)
- Dallas Cowboys (1-1)
That being said, there are some pretty good match-ups this weekend and you will be able to see just from looking at the schedule. Check out the schedule for Week 3:
