So this is something we don’t see very often. If you look at the bottom of the page, you will see that there is a tie for 25th place with Texas A&M and SMU. I would say this doesn’t really matter at this point but I find it interesting that SMU is considered in the rankings. They will not be playing in any postseason ball this year. These days there are usually a few teams that have that problem. The Associated Press has decided that since the number of votes are the same and it’s early on in the season that they would just give them a tie. I would say its fair to guess that both of these squads will be in the top 25 all season.
