Week 13 is usually the bad luck week in men’s college basketball. It features a few heavy weight battles throughout the week. Monday features the first real test for North Carolina in conference play when they take on the Louisville Cardinals. Also on Monday, Texas looks to upset Baylor in what could be one of the biggest games for them this season. This game could make or break them for the tournament come March. West Virginia and Iowa State take each other on Tuesday which looks to be a great game. I would give West Virginia the edge because of how they have been playing lately. After a tough game on the road, North Carolina will have to travel once again on Saturday to Notre Dame where the fighting Irish have had a spark of high output on offense. Villanova will be taking on a surging Providence squad which will be an interesting conference match-up. New to the Top 25 is South Carolina and they will be taking on a veteran of the top 25 rankings in Texas A&M. Our guess is as good as yours in determining how the Top 25 will look next week but our suspicion is that we will have a very different looking chart next week.
