Well after North Carolina had a pretty interesting week it turns out they just drop 2 spots in the polls. The biggest surprise would have to be Texas A&M jumping onto the board at #21. Kansas still has not found a way to become #1 even though Villanova really does not play anyone. They are 3-3 against top 25 teams this season, while Kansas is 6-3 with three more games scheduled with top 25 teams (not including the conference tournament). Villanova has Xavier left which should prove to be a pretty even match up. One of Villanova’s losses comes from a team that Kansas beat twice this season. Villanova lost to Oklahoma by 23 points. Not sure where the logic comes from other than Villanova having a better overall record than Kansas, Virginia, and Oklahoma. I think that they should be ranked right around Xavier at #4 or #5.
